Aquarium Related Tips

1. If you use your tap water, you should make sure to remove the chlorine from the water before you add it to the aquarium.  Chlorine can be very harmful to some of the fish in your aquarium.  You can purchase kits to remove the chlorine from your aquarium at many retailers online.

2. You should always take the time to acclimate your fish to the aquarium.  Acclimating your fish will get them used to the  environment of the aquarium.  Adding fish directly can be too much a shock for your fish and can pose health hazards.

3. You need to have some healthy natural bacteria to process the wastes and chemicals in your aquarium.  This will take around 4 weeks to grow naturally, but you can purchase products to speed up the  process.

Carpenter Flasher Wrasse

Carpenter Wrasses grow to around 4 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 40 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for them. Carpenter Flasher Wrasses should be fed a steady diet of plenty of zooplankton and invertebrates along with other meaty carnivore preparations.
