Cardinal Tetras are originally farm raised in various locations all over South America. Cardinal Tetras are colored in bright red, with a light blue stripe running the length of their bodies. Cardinal Tetras are small in size, growing to only 2 inches in length at full maturity, for this reason they only require an aquarium of 10 gallons to live happily. Cardinal Tetras should be kept in an aquarium with plenty of plant life and rocks to provide adequate hiding places.
