Candy Cane Squirrelfish are originally from the waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, around Fiji, Hawaii, and the Maldives. Candy Cane Hogfish grow to around 7 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 70 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for this fish. Candy Cane Squirrelfish are peaceful members of the aquarium, but can be a bit difficult to care for. For this reason we only recommend that the experienced aquarium owner attempt to care for this fish. Candy Cane Squirrelfish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet with plenty of meaty preparations for best health.
