Aquarium Related Tips

1. When you are removing a large ornamental rock from your aquarium, make sure to check all the nooks and crannies. Some fish love to hide in there and it is good to double check to make sure you donít leave one of your fish out of water.

2. When you are picking out fish for your aquarium, you should always pick the best specimens available to put in your aquarium.

3. Make sure to keep a log on hand to update any changes in the aquarium. This will help you keep track of changes in your aquarium much more easily. Keep your aquarium log in a place where you wonít forget it.

Camel Shrimp

$6.50

The Camel shrimp is lined with red and white markings, it has large green eyes and a humped back. Camel shrimp tend to be nocturnal and hide during daylight hours. Camel shrimp tend to be scavengers and will eat any leftover flake, frozen, or pellet food that the other life in your aquarium will not eat. This makes them great to keep in your tank if only for the cleanup factor. Camel shrimp are not safe for your reef and they will consume polyps and soft coral. You can keep these species by themselves but it is better to pair them in 3s or greater. These shrimp are beautiful to watch and make a great addition to your aquarium.
