Aquarium Related Tips

1. You must always treat the water in the aquarium before attempting to place fish. If you fail to treat the water the fish can die from the condition of the water.

2. Make sure to always keep your aquarium level when placing it. If your aquarium is uneven, the weight of the water can press against the seems and this can cause major problems in your aquarium.

3. You should never add uncured live rock to the aquarium. Doing so can release harmful levels of ammonia into your aquarium.

Bumble Bee Goby

$2.95

Bumble Bee Gobies have the beautiful markings of black and yellow, in the same pattern as a bumble bee, hence the name. Bumble Bee Gobies are normally from South East Asia, in the countries of Thailand, Vietnam, and Western Indonesia. Bumble Bee Gobies should be kept in a brackish aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide for plenty of space for the Bumble Bee Goby to swim around in. You should also make sure to provide plenty of plant and rock cover in your aquarium, as this fish can get skittish and needs places to retreat to if it feels threatened. The Bumble Bee Goby is an omnivore and should be fed a varied diet of flake and pellet food along with brine shrimp and bloodworms.
