Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is not advisable to leave your aquarium lights on at all times for the aquarium. You should keep the lights on for 8-12 hour periods at a time. If you want to keep the tank lights on when you arrive home, simply get a timer for the lights so your fish stay on a schedule.

2. Do not overfeed the fish in your aquarium. Keep your feeding times at scheduled intervals to avoid overfeeding. If you are just starting your feeding routine, start out small and increase the amounts you put in on how much your fish eat.

3. Having a quarantine tank on hand is a very good practice to use if you frequently buy new fish. The quarantine tank will weed out any sick fish that could possible get into your aquarium and cause harm to the other inhabitants.

Brain Coral: Green Aust.

$38.95

Green Brain Coral is from the waters of the Pacific Ocean, around the islands of Indonesia. Green Brain Corals can be aggressive, and should be kept well away from more peaceful members of your aquarium. Green Brain Coral should be kept in a place in the aquarium where they can receive a moderate amount of lighting. You should also make sure that you place this coral where it receives a moderate amount of water flow as well. Because of these requirements, it is recommended you place your Green Brain towards the bottom of your aquarium to receive its needs.

Lighting: Moderate
Waterflow: Medium
Placement: Bottom of the aquarium
