Also Known as the Red Ram, the Bolivian Ram is a peaceful Cichlid that hails from South America. They grow to around 2.5 inches in size with a lifespan of around 5 years. You should keep this fish in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons with plenty of plant life and rocks and crevices for the Bolivian ram Cichlid to establish territory and to hide if it feels threatened. They are very colorful fish that show a nice spread of yellow, blue, gold, orange and bronze. These fish are omnivorous and should be fed diets consisting of plenty of bloodworms, brine shrimp, and vegetable based flake and pellet food.
