Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is not a good idea to wash your filter media with regular tap water.† The tap water can kill the beneficial bacteria that is built up in the filter.† Use distilled water to clean out your filter and its components.

2. When you are removing a large ornamental rock from your aquarium, make sure to check all the nooks and crannies.† Some fish love to hide in there and it is good to double check to make sure you donít leave one of your fish out of water.

3. Make sure to keep a log on hand to update any changes in the aquarium.† This will help you keep track of changes in your aquarium much more easily.† Keep your aquarium log in a place where you wonít forget it.

Bluestripe Clownfish Mar.

$32.00

Blue Stripe Clownfish are commonly found in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, more specifically around the islands of Fiji and the Marshall Islands. Blue Stripe Clownfish grow to around 7 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 50 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for them. Blue Stripe Clownfish are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet with plenty of herbivore and carnivore preparations. Blue Stripe Clownfish are semi-aggressive fish, and should not be kept with more peaceful species that it may bully or harm. Keep this fish with other aggressive fish in the aquarium. These fish are recommended for the experienced aquarium owner, as they can be a bit difficult to care for.
