Aquarium Related Tips

1. When starting out a new aquarium, it is best to add hardier species at first.† Once your aquarium ages a bit and gets settled, you can start to add more sensitive fish to the aquarium.

2. It is not considered a good idea to keep aggressive fish with fish of other temperaments.† You should keep peaceful fish in an aquarium with other peaceful fish to avoid any sort of fighting between the fish.† Aggressive fish should only be kept with other aggressive fish.

3. Make sure that the bottom of your aquarium is fully supported by your aquarium stand.† If you have any gaps in the structural integrity of your aquarium, it is much more prone to breaks and leaks.
