1. It is not recommended to keep your aquarium where it receives direct sunlight.† Exposure to direct sunlight can upset the balance of the aquarium and can raise aquarium temperature levels.† It is best to keep your aquarium in a place where you can control the lighting.


2. Make sure that the bottom of your aquarium is fully supported by your aquarium stand.† If you have any gaps in the structural integrity of your aquarium, it is much more prone to breaks and leaks.


3. Clownfish are all born as males, but when the age and get older they have the amazing ability to switch sexes .

Blue Spot Jawfish

Bluespot Jawfish are from the waters of the Eastern Pacific, around California and Mexico. Bluespot Jawfish grow to around 4 inches in length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons to provide them with plenty of living and swimming room. Bluespot Jawfish are carnivores and should be fed mysis and brine shrimp along with other meat preparations for best health. Bluespot Jawfish are peaceful but can pose some problems for the beginning aquarium owner.

Origin: Western Pacific
Size: Can grow up to 4 inches at full maturity
Feeding: Carnivore, should be fed plenty of meaty foods.
Aquarium: Saltwater, can be kept in a reef aquarium.
Minimum Tank Size: 55 Gallons
Behavior: Peaceful, can be territorial with other Blue Spots.
Care: Moderate
Compatibility: Should be kept with other fish of around the same size and temperament.
