(holocanthus isabelita)
Saltwater
The juvenile Blue Angelfish differs greatly in coloration from the adult Blue Angelfish, with the juvenile having a yellowish-brown body and light blue stripes and the adult becoming a light blue fish with a yellow shimmer and yellow edging on the fins. The Blue Angelfish can be aggressive especially toward other angelfish and is best kept as the only angelfish in the tank. This fish needs a large amount of live rock to hide in and graze on, and will nip at stoney and soft corals and clam mantles. Because this fish is hermaphroditic it is difficult to breed and there are no markings to tell females from males.
