Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should keep the temperature in your aquarium constant. Constant change in the aquarium can be dangerous for the fish in your aquarium. Keep a quality heater and accurate thermometer to ensure that the water stays stable for the aquarium.

2. Catfish sometimes require freshwater as juveniles and then as they get old they will need a more brackish environment. Make sure you read up on your catfish to learn what its needs will be when it gets older.

3. Do not overfeed the fish in your aquarium. Keep your feeding times at scheduled intervals to avoid overfeeding. If you are just starting your feeding routine, start out small and increase the amounts you put in on how much your fish eat.

Blue Angelfish -- Atlantic Ocean

$119.25

Blue Angelfish (pomacanthus xanthometopon)

This angel is a color changing angelfish.  It changes to a pale tan with blue in it and has bright yellow highlights on the fins.  As a juvenile angel it has yellow and brown and blue on the anal and dorsal fins.  You will need to provide plenty of space for these fish to swim around in because they will grow up to 15 inches long.  Provide plenty of hiding places for them like reefs or rocks.

They may get aggressive with their own species but gets along well with other reef fish otherwise they are guiet peaceful.

Likes greens, meatyfoods and prepared foods and may eat worms or some small invertebrates.

Suggested tank size 130 gal.
