Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is not recommended to keep your aquarium where it receives direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight can upset the balance of the aquarium and can raise aquarium temperature levels. It is best to keep your aquarium in a place where you can control the lighting.

2. It is generally recommended to use natural gravel for the aquarium. Colored gravel can be used, as long as it is professionally made, certain cheaply made color gravels can be toxic to fish in your aquarium.

3. In larger aquariums, you should put a few scavenger fish in the tank. Scavenger fish will help to clean up left behind food and wastes from the other fish in the aquarium. This is a good eco friendly way to keep your aquarium clean.

BlastomussaMerleti: Red - Aust

$55.50

Blastomussa Merleti Coral is originally from the waters of the Southern Pacific around Australia. Blastomussa Merleti Coral should be kept in a spot in the aquarium where it can receive low to medium waterflow along with medium range light. Blastomussa Merleti is a bit aggressive and should not be placed next to more peaceful species, as it will encroach on their territory and possibly harm them. Keep this coral next to other aggressive species to keep its expansion in check. As with most other corals, make sure you supplement the Blastomussa Merleti with plenty of strontium, calcium, and trace elements.

Lighting: Medium
Waterflow: Low-Medium
Placement: Anywhere
Origin: South Pacific
Temperament: Semi-Aggressive
Care: Easy-Moderate
