Aquarium Related Tips

1. Make sure that the bottom of your aquarium is fully supported by your aquarium stand. If you have any gaps in the structural integrity of your aquarium, it is much more prone to breaks and leaks.

2. Keep plenty of testing kits on hand, if you own a saltwater aquarium you should mainly focus on nitrates, PH, salinity, and phosphate levels. Never be caught off guard, make sure you have plenty of kits available to test the levels.

3. Pay close attention to your fish's PH needs and augment your aquarium as necessary to accommodate the new fish you are adding to your aquarium.

Black Sailfin Molly

$2.64

Black Sailfin Mollies grow to a length of around 5 inches at full maturity and generally live to around 3 to 5 years. Black Sailfin Mollies are unique freshwater fish, they can actually live and adapt to saltwater aquariums as well as freshwater aquariums. Black Sailfin Mollies are peaceful fish and should be kept in an aquarium with other fish of the same temperament to ensure that there are no problems. You should also make sure that you provide plenty of plant and rock cover for your Black Sailfin Molly, as they are shy fish and need places to retreat and hide. These fish are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet of flake and pellet food along with occasional meaty treats.
