Black Phantom Tetras are very peaceful community fish, originally from the freshwater bodies in Central Brazil. Black Phantom Tetras should be housed in an aquarium with plenty of rocks and plants to provide a sense of security for these fish as they frequently need places to hide. Black Phantom Tetras should be kept in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons in size to properly accommodate them. Black Phantom Tetras are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 5 or more.

Feeding: Omnivores, should be fed a steady diet of flake, pellet and frozen foods.
Aquarium: Freshwater, should be kept with plenty of plants and rocks to provide adequate hiding places for this fish.
