Aquarium Related Tips

1. Purchasing fish that feed off of algae is a good plan to take care of an algae problem in your aquarium.† You could also try cutting back the amount of lighting in the aquarium or get an algae treatment chemical to take care of any algae problems.

2. When adding new species to your aquarium, you have to ease them in.† Adding too many fish too quickly can cause the ammonia and chemical levels to raise quickly.† Adding fish slowly gives your filter time to catch up.

3. You should keep plenty of water testing kits for your aquarium.† Testing kits can measure the levels of harmful and beneficial chemicals in the aquarium.† You will need these testing kits for the frequent water changes for your aquarium.

Bicolor Cleaner Wrasse

$36.00

Bicolor Cleaner Wrasses are from the waters of the Pacific Ocean and more specifically around Hawaii. Bicolor Cleaner Wrasses can grow up to 4 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these fish. Bicolor Cleaner Wrasses are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet of plenty of meaty foods and carnivores preparations for best health. Bicolor Cleaner Wrasses are peaceful members of the aquarium and should not be kept with more aggressive species that may attack and bully them. These fish are hard to care for, and should only be kept by the experienced aquarium owner.
