Balloon Molies are originally from the rivers and streams by the Gulf of Mexico, to Florida, and up to North Carolina. Balloon Mollies grow to around 3 inches in length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming room for this fish. You should also make sure that your aquarium has plenty of plant and rock cover for your Balloon Molly to hide in and swim under. You should also make sure that you have a very good filtration system, as the Balloon Molly has a tendency to produce a lot of waste in your aquarium. Balloon Mollies are omnivores and should be fed plenty of Algae Wafers along with a lot of meaty foods.
