Astria Snails are white and cone shaped. They originate from the Caribbean and they are very active algae eaters. The Astraea snail can have some trouble righting themselves if they happen to fall onto substrate. In the event that your snail flips over you can hand flip them because if they remain on their back they may be vulnerable to any curious tank mates that come by to check them out. These snails generally grow to around 1 inch and are very non aggressive aquarium inhabitants and can generally get along with any other inhabitants in your aquarium. This species is very low maintenance and will feed off of the left overs from other creatures in your aquarium.
