Mickey Mouse Platys get their name from the distinct markings they have near their tailfin, which has the appearance of a silhouette of Mickey Mouse ears. This fish are normally from Eastern Mexico, Guatemala, and Northern Honduras. The Mickey Mouse Platys grows to a length of around 2¬? at full maturity. For proper housing you should keep the Mickey Mouse Platy in an aquarium of at least 15 gallons in size. Mickey Mouse Platys are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet of algae wafers, flakes and pellets along with bloodworms and brine shrimp.
