1. If you have a protein skimmer you should shut it off when you are adding medicine to your aquarium.† The protein skimmer will remove any medicines added to the aquarium.
2. When keeping aggressive species of fish, it is best not to introduce peaceful species of fish among them.† Aggressive fish will tend to bully the more peaceful fish.† Make sure to thoroughly read about the compatibility of the selected fish for the aquarium.
3. When you are removing a large ornamental rock from your aquarium, make sure to check all the nooks and crannies.† Some fish love to hide in there and it is good to double check to make sure you donít leave one of your fish out of water.
