1. Some people go by the ìinch of fish, gallon of waterî rule when deciding on how large of an aquarium to buy.† This is a completely false and bad method to go by, you should always check your individual fishís tank requirements.
2. Avoid placing your aquarium near a radiator or any other form of heater.† The heat given off by these devices can easily upset the temperature balance in your aquarium.† Raised temperature levels can kill off the fish and plants that you have in your aquarium.
3. Pay close attention to your fishís PH needs and augment your aquarium as necessary to accommodate the new fish you are adding to your aquarium.
