1. Only use medication in your aquarium when you are out of other options.† You should use a separate tank to medicate sick fish as some medications can have harmful effects on healthy fish.
2. When adding particularly aggressive fish to your aquarium, it is a good idea to move around the rocks and such in the aquarium before placing the new fish into the aquarium.† Moving the rocks in the aquarium will allow the fish to go back and stake out their own territory.
3. You should always stay up to date on the new and exciting practices for fish keeping.† Subscribe to several news letters to keep up to date.† If you like to read, go to your local library and get some books on fish keeping.
