Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should always research the different types of fish you are going to be housing together. Certain fish can be extremely aggressive and cannot be paired with other fish of different temperaments.

2. It is a good idea to keep carbon on hand in case of emergencies. Carbon can be used to soak up anything harmful that may be introduced into your aquarium. So keeping an emergency stock can be a life saver.

3. In larger aquariums, you should put a few scavenger fish in the tank. Scavenger fish will help to clean up left behind food and wastes from the other fish in the aquarium. This is a good eco friendly way to keep your aquarium clean.

Anemone Crab

$5.75

Anemone Crabs are beautiful inhabitants of the aquarium, and are kept by many aquarium owners for their looks. Anemone Crabs are peaceful, and should not be kept with more aggressive crab species that can harm it. Anemone Crabs crow to around 1 inch at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons to provide plenty of swimming and living room for this crab. Anemone Crabs are perfectly fine to keep in the reef aquarium, and are easy to care for. Because of their ease of care, we recommend that beginners pick up this crab for their aquarium.

Origin: Indo-Pacific
Size: 1 inch at full length
Diet: Carnivore
Behavior: Peaceful
Care: Easy
