Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is generally a good practice to purchase the largest aquarium that you can actually afford. A larger aquarium will be less susceptible to quick changes in the chemistry, and will offer much more stability.

2. Pay close attention to your fish's PH needs and augment your aquarium as necessary to accommodate the new fish you are adding to your aquarium.

3. It is not advisable to leave your aquarium lights on at all times for the aquarium. You should keep the lights on for 8-12 hour periods at a time. If you want to keep the tank lights on when you arrive home, simply get a timer for the lights so your fish stay on a schedule.

Albino Tiger Barb

The Albino Tiger Barb is one of the species that color morphs from being just a Tiger Barb. The Albino Tiger Barbs are very playful fish and they are very lively. They are best kept in a school of 6 or more other Albino tiger Barbs and they need plenty of open space in your aquarium to swim around. These fish make excellent pets for starting aquarium owners, but be careful because the Albino tiger Barb can be a bit nippy to some of the other fish in the aquarium. To make your tank more diverse, you can add Albino Tiger Barbs along with other Tiger barbs to make your tank more beautiful. When the Albino tiger Barbs get older their colors do seem to fade a bit.
