Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is a good idea to keep carbon on hand in case of emergencies. Carbon can be used to soak up anything harmful that may be introduced into your aquarium. So keeping an emergency stock can be a life saver.

2. Angelfish are normally very peaceful fish, in times of breeding they can get aggressive. It is a good idea to only keep one pair of mating angelfish in the same aquarium, as more of them can lead to infighting.

3. When keeping aggressive species of fish, it is best not to introduce peaceful species of fish among them. Aggressive fish will tend to bully the more peaceful fish. Make sure to thoroughly read about the compatibility of the selected fish for the aquarium.

Albino Peacock Cichlid

$10.85

Albino Peacock Cichlids should be kept with other Cichlids around the same size and the same peaceful temperament. You should keep the Albino Peacock in a tank that is at least 50 gallons of water or more, as an adult these fish reach 4-5 inches in length. With proper care and feeding you will see the Albino Peacock’s colors come out in full plumage. The Albino peacock Cichlid is a hybrid and is bred from other varieties of African Cichlids. You should feed them the steady diet of flake food, brine shrimp, and freeze dried blood worms for the best results. Make sure that you keep them in the tank with a lot of plants and rocks that provide for suitable hiding places.
