Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is generally a good practice to purchase the largest aquarium that you can actually afford. A larger aquarium will be less susceptible to quick changes in the chemistry, and will offer much more stability.

2. You should never used any alcohol to clean the inside of your aquarium. Alcohol can pose health problems for the fish in your aquarium.

3. You should take out any carbon filters in the aquarium when you are medicating your fish. The carbon in the filter will remove the medicine from the water, so it is best to remove it all together.

Albino Kribensis Cichlid

$9.15

Selectively bred from the Kribensis Cichlid from Western Africa, the Albino Kribensis Cichlid is a unique fish. These fish are pink and color with the females getting a red belly during the spawning process. This species is a smaller version of Cichlids and is often referred to as a dwarf Cichlid. You should keep this species of Cichlid in an aquarium of at least 50 gallons or larger with plenty of rocks and caves for these fish to hide as they like to stake out a place that is their own territory. The Albino Kribensis should be fed a constant diet consisting of mostly vegetable based foods, but also should be given the occasional meaty foods to balance out the diet.
