Red African Starfish are from the Eastern Coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. Red African Starfish are highly sought after for their unique coloration and appearance. Red African Starfish grow to around 1 foot across at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 60 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these starfish. Red African Starfish are peaceful and can be kept even by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem. Red African Starfish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet of chopped clams, shrimp and other fish at least once a week.
