Aquarium Related Tips

1. Discus fish are very hard to care for, they have very specific care instructions. These fish are hard to care for but are very beautiful. However we recommend that these fish only be kept only by the advanced aquarium owner.

2. Purchasing fish that feed off of algae is a good plan to take care of an algae problem in your aquarium. You could also try cutting back the amount of lighting in the aquarium or get an algae treatment chemical to take care of any algae problems.

3. Some people go by the ìinch of fish, gallon of waterî rule when deciding on how large of an aquarium to buy. This is a completely false and bad method to go by, you should always check your individual fishís tank requirements.
